The Art of Giving
St. Paul reminds us of the words of Jesus- “It is more blessed to give than to receive.” (Acts 20:35) Behind this statement is the truth that our giving that blesses another is our response to how God has already blessed us. We know God’s blessing in every breath we take, every love we share, every joy we feel, every bite we taste and drink that refreshes. It is our joy to give God thanks for all His good gifts.
Our giving also allows us the privilege of participating in what God is doing in the world. When you give through Lenape Valley Church you support caring ministries throughout our community and across the globe. Through us God is healing the world, one life at a time. Join us in being the mission of Jesus Christ to the world God so loves!
Please consider these ways to be a part of what God is doing in the world:
Ways to Give
Due to worship gatherings at the church being suspended, we cannot collect your offering by traditionally passing the plate. Therefore, if you would prefer to continue to give using your Giving Envelopes or would like to give by check, please mail them to the church office using this address:
Lenape Valley Church
P.O.Box 5066 New Britain, PA 18901
You are able to give a one time or repeating offering online through the bridge. You may set up to use your debit/credit card or bank account for your giving.
Many people have set up to have their bank automtically send a check to the church by mail.. There should be no cost you or the church for this transaction.
It is common for people to make a stock donation to the church. If you are someone who is interested in this form of giving, please print this Gifts of Stock form. Instructions are provided on how to make the transfer of securities. If you have any questions please contact the church office.
Is online giving safe?
Yes! It is very safe, the site you use to give online uses the same encryption that banks do. We do not keep any record of card or check numbers.
Will I recieve a year-end giving statement?
Yes. As long as you give using registered giving envelopes, give online, or give by check. In order to recieve a giving statement, we need your name, contact information and address.
Does it cost anything when I give online?
There is a cost when it comes to giving online. It is cheaper by setting up an online gift by using check than it is to use a credit/debit card. It costs only $0.45 when setting it up by check or 2% of your gift if you use your credit/debit card.
How do I set up a bank Transfer?
The best way would be to go to your bank and set up a bank check transfer. You don't need the church's account or routing number. All you need to do is give your bank the name, address. Some people also include their giving number in the 'Memo' section. You then specify to your bank when you want this check to be sent to the church.
